This route starts off at Los Canarios village and travels onto the San Antonio and Teneguia volcanoes. Teneguia last erupted as in 1971. At some points you can actually feel the heat of the lava and smell the sulphur filtering through the rocks. From here, you follow the 1971 lava flows down to the sea. It's one of the hottest walking routes on the island (literally!).
