The route starts at the Roque de los Muchachos, which is 2426 meters high. The air is thinner up here, so it's quite easy to get tired or out of breath. The route takes you around the rim of the Caldera erosion-crater where you'll witness some truly amazing views. You can see right to the bottom of this fascinating rock and out over the rest of La Palma. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Tenerife, and even as far as la Gomera! The route ends at Pico de la Cruz.
