Puerto Naos is one of the two tourist villages on the west coast of La Palma. There was originally a small landing place here for boats carrying bananas, but little remains to be seen.

Puerto Naos consists of a few streets of 3 and 4 storey apartment blocks. The sea-front apartments are mostly privately owned and are for private use or rental. In the other streets the appartments are occupied by locals or employees in the tourist industry or are used as weekend accommodation by people living elsewhere on the island(s).

There is a wide range of restaurants and bars (no discos), tourist shops and supermarkets.

Puerto Naos has an excellent black sand beach and good temperatures all year round.

At the end of the boulevard and beach is Hotel Sol Elite, a large hotel and apartment complex which features in many holiday brochures.
