The route starts off at the small, sleepy village of Las Tricias. From here you follow the paths downwards through lush green fields, colourful orchards and huge gardens. Eventually the route comes to an old dissused grain windmill. Then it travels on past the massive dragon trees to the cave where the old original island dwellers lived.

The best time to try the route is at the end of January or start of February. As the winter ends the almond trees begin to blossom and produce some spectacular colours!
