Playa de la Zamora belongs to one of the nicest coast segments of La Palma. It has black volcanic sand and is located in the southwest of the island. It's about 200 metres from Playa Chica. There isn't really any services on the beach, although it is cleaned regularly.
la Zamora is not really as popular with tourists as the beaches in the north, so you can often have the whole place to yourself.
It's a wild, romantic bay where the sun shines all day long. It's also offers excellent scuba diving and snorkelling diving conditions.
You can access the beach via the street which leads to the Punta Banco. A stone stairway leads down to the beach. La Zamora beach is about 150 metres long and about 15 metres wide with dark sand and a moderate sea ,surge.
