This one of La Palma's most popular churches. It was built at the end of the 15th century. El Salvador remains the most monumental example of the Canary Islands' Renaissance architecture.

Outside, there's a façade with a portal in the form of a triumph arch (made in 1503) which is an allegory of Christ and his church. Inside, there's a Mudejar styled ceiling and sculptures by Fernando Estevez.
