La Palma's climatic conditions are ideal for paragliding. It's also one of the best places in Spain to fly during winter.

The peculiar climate and landscape produce some excellent flying conditions. The wind streams to Sotavento (Los Llanos de Aridane, Fuencaliente) and Barlovento (Santa Cruz) taking you over some truly spectacular mountainous landscape with breathtaking views. Up amongst the clouds, as you glide over the mountain peaks below, you'll really feel like you're floating over the highest island on the planet - and you actually are!
