La Palma is a mecca for mountain bike enthusiasts. It has the perfect landscape and terrain for it. You can cycle through forests, on top of volcanoes and along the coast all in one day and with plenty of time to stop off for a rest and a bite to eat.

Along the way, you'll no doubt encounter some of the island's endemic trees like the Canarian pine as well as laurisivae plants, not to mention the volcanoes and beaches...


This is a great way to see the island. You can really see a lot of in a very short time. If you didn't bring your bike, no problema! There are plenty of clubs on the island where you can hire all the necessary equipment (bikes, helmets, gloves, shorts etc). Cycling through this fascinating and diverse landscape is an experience you won't forget.
