The Volcano route - Cumbre Vieja
This walk takes around seven hours. It's one of the most difficult on the island.

It starts off at Refugio El Pilar high on the central ridge of the island and ends up at Los Canarios (Fuencaliente) in the south. Along the way, you'll pass through some fascinating volcanic landscapes. You'll get to see the seven volcanoes that form the backbone of the island.
